Today we are talking about contemporary Black composers that you should know. Omar Thomas, who we referenced in our Music Share post from Tuesday, is on this list along with many amazing artists like Valerie Coleman (who also performs with Imani Winds as a flautist), Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), Eleanor Alberga, and Quinn Mason among many others.
